Purpose:
To consider the five objections and three comments received in regards to the proposed waiting restrictions, removal of one-way order and re-located parking bays on Wilcot Road, Pewsey (see Appendix 2).

DECISION MADE
I approve that the proposals be implemented as advertised.
This decision was published on 25.07.17 and will come into force on 02.08.17.
Reasons for the decision:
Traffic associated with the site will be encouraged to use a route on the highway network which is better designed. The introduction of no waiting will ensure access to the site is maintained with a suitable safe level of visibility. The loss of public parking will be replaced within the site.
Alternative options considered:
To:
(i) Implement the proposals as advertised.
(ii) Not implement the proposals.
(iii) Implement the proposals with amendments.
Other reasons / organisations consulted
Consultations have been undertaken with the Fire Service, Police and Ambulance Service and also with the relevant bus companies, the Town Council, and the Local Member. Advertisements have been posted in the local press and notices were posted in prominent positions at the site (see Appendix 1).
