Purpose:

To consider the comments received following the formal advertisement of an experimental order to prohibit vehicles entering Silverless Street from its eastern end and to recommend an appropriate way forward.

 

Decision:

I approve that:

 

(i)         The proposals be implemented as advertised.

 

(ii)        The objectors be informed accordingly.

 

 

This decision was published on 14.08.17 and will come into force on 22.08.17   

Reasons for the decision:

An experimental order has been in place for a maximum period of 18 months.  Marlborough Town Council has requested that the order is made permanent.

Alternative options considered:

To:

 

(i)         Implement the advertised changes.

(ii)        Abandon the proposals and remove the existing restriction.

The proposal has been developed following prioritisation by the Marlborough Area Board.
