Purpose:
To set out the results of an investigation into the safety of the central reserve crossovers on the A350 dual carriageway north of Chippenham and to recommend measures to increase safety.
Reasons for the decision:
The proposals are considered to be an appropriate solution to help minimise future collisions at the crossovers whilst maintaining access ability for many of the residents and
their visitors.
Alternative options considered:
As set out in the report attached at Appendix A.

Consultation has been undertaken with local residents, the Police, Parish Councils and the Local Member. Responses received during the consultation period are attached at Appendix B.
