29/02/2012 - R-001-12 - TUPE Transfer of Employees - Wiltshire and Swindon Sports Partnership Team ref: 550    Recommendations Approved

This report notifies the Council that in relinquishing the current hosting of the Wiltshire and Swindon Activity and Sports Partnership (WASP) from Wiltshire Council there will be a consequential TUPE transfer of staff currently employed by Wiltshire Council.

 

Transferring responsibility for hosting WASP from Wiltshire Council will entail a transfer of the 12 members of WASP under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (“TUPE”) to a new Community Interest Company (C.I.C.).

 

The proposal has been considered and approved by the Council’s Corporate Leadership Team
