Purpose of committee

Wiltshire Council consists of 98 Members.

 

The responsibilities of full council include approving, adopting or making material changes to the Policy Framework and the Budget; adopting and changing the Constitution; appointing or removing the Leader; and agreeing and/or amending the terms of reference for Committees

 

There are three types of council meeting:

• the annual meeting

• ordinary meetings

• extraordinary meetings
