The exempt information will be professional advice from agents as to their view of the value of the asset being sought for purchase. The council has identified a property that meets operational needs that is currently on the market. A delay risks that the property may be sold to another party.
The Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee was notified of this key decision being re-listed as an exempt item on 30 May 2019. He has duly given his consent for this item to be considered at the 11 June 2019 Cabinet meeting bearing in mind the reasons for a decision, as detailed above.
