This is a busy stretch of road which many people use to commute to work at the Business Park. Cars, busses and HGVs travel along this road at speed, reducing the speed limit may encourage more people to walk to work using the footpath. Extending this reduced speed limit to the Sharcott triangle would slow vehicles down approaching the business park where many see it as an opportunity to overtake along the wider stretch of road.
