DECISION MADE
This decision was published on 9 January 2025 and will come into effect on 17 January 2025.
The proposals are intended to improve road and pedestrian safety and to allay concerns of safety expressed by residents.
The proposal has the support of the locally elected members, both Wiltshire Council and Devizes Town Council, Local Highway Footway Improvement Group and Area Board.

(ii) Not implement the proposals.
(iii) Implement the proposals with amendments.

The proposed TROs were subject to formal consultation between 9th May and 3rd June 2024. During the consultation period a total of nine items of correspondence were received in response to the Council’s proposals. Of these, six were in objection, one in support and two made general comments.
The proposal has been developed following prioritisation by the Devizes Local Highways & Footway Improvement Group (LHFIG) and endorsement by Devizes Area Board.
