Purpose:
This paper seeks approval to provide a letter of support to Visit England, as part of the application to establish a Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for Wiltshire.
Decision:
I confirm the decision to provide a letter of support for an LVEP.
This decision was published on 27 January 2025 and will come into effect on 4 February 2025.
Reasons for the decision:
To provide a letter of support for the application for LVEP status.
To improve the prospects for the local visitor economy through formation of a Local Visitor Economy Partnership for Wiltshire.
To enable the resulting Partnership to access funding and materials from Visit England and Visit Britain to ensure the visitor economy in Wiltshire is supported.

(i) To provide a letter of support for an LVEP
(ii) Not to provide a letter of support for an LVEP
