Purpose:

To agree a phased reopening of libraries safely during the COVID 19 pandemic and where this is not currently possible outline plans to progress reopening.

Decision:

I approve a phased approach to reopening libraries as set out in the attached report.

 

This decision was published on 3 August 2020 and will come into effect on 11 August 2020

Reasons for the decision:

To ensure Wiltshire libraries are re-opened safely and within our financial constraints during the COVID19 pandemic.  Meeting our statutory duty to ensure any changes to library openings reflect the needs of the communities they serve.
