To ask the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport to consider whether the Council should grant a request from Mr. & Mrs. Burt of 2 New Cottages, Shaftesbury Road, Mere to apply to the magistrates’ court for an order stopping-up highway rights over a section of highway adjacent to their property on the ground that the section concerned is unnecessary for public use or any other highway-related reason.

I give notice that I consent to the proposed application. This decision was published on 22 April 2021 and will come into effect on 30 April 2021.
