Electoral Review Update - Draft Recommendations

On 16 October 2018 Full Council approved a response to the Local Government Boundary Commission (“The Commission”) for England on a proposed pattern of 98 divisions to apply from the elections in May 2021.

 

On 5 February 2019 the Commission will announce its draft recommendations for the pattern and names of those divisions. It will consult on those proposals until 15 April 2019, and publish final recommendations on 2 July 2019.

 

The Commission’s draft recommendations will be published on their website at this link.

 

The Committee is requested to consider the draft recommendations and propose a course of action for Full Council to consider on 26 February 2019.
