Questions may be asked without notice if the Chairman decides that the matter is urgent.

Safer Streets Initiative Update

Stephen Melville (Safer Streets Co-Ordinator) from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner will be attending the meeting to give an update on the Safer Streets Fund initiative.  Details received from the Home Office on the Government’s plans regarding Safer Streets project funding is attached.

Richard Tottle and Alistair Day (Police Licensing Officers) prepared updates as at November 2024 and these were shared with Committee members via email in the absence of the December meeting). Further updates have now been received and they are all attached for the committee’s information.

Tom Ince (Principal Compliance Officer) was requested to provide members with the information on the possibility of school only taxi licenses following a request from the Committee on 16 September 2024 and this is attached for members information.
