To receive a presentation from Renate Malton, Flood Resilience Officer.

The Strategic Engagement and Partnerships manager (SEPM), Andrew Jack, will introduce a report on the Engagement and Partnerships Service, upcoming local engagements, key Area Board information and further sources of information.

The Area Board will then hear from Councillors outlining the key challenges that they see facing their divisions over the Council term.

To appoint lead members to any Outside Bodies and to consider appointing a lead member to the roles of:

a)    Area Board Environment Lead

b)    Area Board Youth Lead

To note the partnership framework between Wiltshire Council and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.

To receive updates from the recent meetings of the Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Community Care Group, held on 7 May 2025.

To note the terms of reference of the LHFIG.

To note the minutes and consider any financial recommendations arising from the latest LHFIG meeting held on 28 May 2025, as set out in the attached report.

Recommendations:

·       Adhoc Road Markings RWB & Cricklade area – allocate £5,000 (no 3rd party contribution)

·       C415 Broad Town speed limit implementation – allocate £3,500 (25% contribution from Broad Town PC)

·       A4361 Broad Hinton speed limit implementation – allocate £3,500 (25% contribution form Broad Hinton & Winterbourne Bassett PC)

·       Tockenham 20mph assessment. Allocate £3,100 (25% contribution from Tockenham PC)

·       RWB Rugby Club to RWB sports Club topo survey – allocate £1,800 (12.5% contribution from RWB TC and 12.5% contribution from Lydiard Tregoze PC)

·       Purton Road Cricklade 20mph assessment - allocate £3,100 (25% contribution from Cricklade TC)

·       Chelworth Upper Green, Cricklade Signs / Road markings – Allocate £4,000 (25% contribution from Cricklade TC)

Delegated Funding

The Board is asked to note any funding awards made under the Delegated Funding Process, by the Strategic Engagement & Partnership Manager, between meetings due to matters of urgency:

·       ABG2278 - Royal Wootton Bassett Petanque Club were awarded £500 of Youth Grant funding towards engaging junior academy players.
