Brief description

Wiltshire Community Plan – Workshop **** CANCELLED ****

This workshop was planned to enable members to discuss the draft Community Plan prior to the Wiltshire Assembly in October and sign off of the final plan at full council in January. However, as only four people have confirmed their attendance, it has become necessary to cancel.

You can still share your views on the consultation draft Plan. This is available to view at: www.wiltshire.gov.uk/communityplan. Please send me any comments by this Wednesday (15 September).

The final draft Community Plan will be sent to those attending the Wiltshire Assembly in early October, at which time Members will also receive a copy. The Assembly will then propose the Plan to full council for final sign off in January.

Should you have any queries regarding the Community Plan or the process described above, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards

Liz Richardson

The Wiltshire Community Plan will outline what the council, Wiltshire Assembly, area boards and the public agree should be our objectives for making life in Wiltshire an even better place to live, work and visit.

This Plan is currently being developed and will eventually be agreed by the Assembly for formal adoption by full council. To ensure all councillors are able to participate in the consultation, a councillors' workshop has been set up. This workshop will give you an opportunity to discuss the Plan with the officers developing it and the chief executive and share your views.

Please note

1. Different venues, times and days are proposed when possible to enable as many councillors to attend but we do have to use the one(s) with the most possible attendees.
