To elect a Chairman for the forthcoming year.

The Democratic Services Officer called for nominations for the position of Chairman for the forthcoming year.

Cllr Jacqui Lay nominated Cllr Allison Bucknell. There was no seconder.

Cllr Andrew Matthews nominated Cllr Nick Dye, which was seconded by Cllr Martin Denz.

There were no further nominations.

Decision

To appoint Cllr Dye as Chairman for the forthcoming year.

To elect a Vice-Chairman for the forthcoming year.

The Chairman nominated Cllr Allison Bucknell to be Vice-Chairman for the forthcoming year, but Cllr Bucknell declined to be nominated.

The Chairman then called for further nominations.

Cllr Martin Denz nominated Cllr Andrew Matthews, which was seconded by Cllr Lianna Konig.

There were no further nominations.

Decision

To appoint Cllr Matthews as Vice-Chairman for the forthcoming year.

The Local Highways and Footway Improvement Group (LHFIG) operates as an informal working group making recommendations to the Area Board for approval. Terms of Reference are set out in the attached report for information.

The Area Board are invited to appoint a Lead Councillor to the LHFIG.

The Chairman invited the Area Board to appoint a representative to the Highway and Footway Improvement Group (LHFIG).  

On the proposal of the Chairman, seconded by the Vice-Chairman, it was resolved to make the:
