Spotlight on Parishes and Partners

To receive updates from our key partners, including:

Minutes:

Updates were received from the following Partners, Towns and Parishes:

 

Community Mentoring and Support – the written report was noted.

 

Points made included:

 

  • That lots of good youth work was being carried out over the RWB&C community areas.

 

  • That CMAS were moving into the Hive at MOD Lyneham.

 

  • That good street based youth work in Cricklade had now developed  and moved into a venue for regular evening meetings.

 

 

Recycling for Wiltshire Joint Venture – Gemma Annan was in attendance and the written report was noted.

 

Points made included:

 

·         That Wiltshire Wildlife Trust were still looking for a couple more schools to sign up for the Recycle for Wiltshire Joint Venture project.

 

·         That places were available for a visit to the Compton Bassett Recycling Centre on Thursday 8 February 2018.

 

 

Wiltshire Police - the written report was noted.

 

 

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service - the written report was noted.

 

 

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council – the written report was noted.

 

·         A petition was presented to the Chairman from Cllr Chris Hurst on behalf of Wood Street and Borough Fields residents, Royal Wootton Bassett. The petition highlighted residents requests for Wiltshire Council to consider extending the off-street residents scheme.

 

 

Cricklade Town Council – the written report was noted.

 

The Chairman thanked all partners for their updates.
