28/04/2021 - ASCPHPP-01-21: Amended Air Quality Management Order ref: 1759    Recommendations Approved

An Air Quality Management Area (AQMA) was declared by Order in respect of levels of fine particulates (PM10) and nitrogen dioxide in Masons Lane Bradford on Avon in November 2001. Levels of fine particulates have fallen and are now compliant with UK air quality regulations. As a result, the order establishing the AQMA can be modified to remove fine particulates. The order will remain in place with respect to the annual mean objective for nitrogen dioxide.

22/04/2021 - HTW-15-21: Proposed Application to Stop Up Highway Adjacent to 2 New Cottages, Shaftesbury Road, Mere ref: 1756    Recommendations Approved

To ask the Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport to consider whether the Council should grant a request from Mr. & Mrs. Burt of 2 New Cottages, Shaftesbury Road, Mere to apply to the magistrates’ court for an order stopping-up highway rights over a section of highway adjacent to their property on the ground that the section concerned is unnecessary for public use or any other highway-related reason.

 

The area concerned is shown cross-hatched in black on the plan at Appendix 1.
