Consultation process

The proposed highway surfacing and maintenance schemes are reported annually to the Area Boards and the additional surfacing sites. If any additional investment becomes possible with the additional funding, this will be included in the information consulted on for next year’s programme.  There is an ongoing consultation with town and parish councils on their priorities for the highways and streetscene service throughout the year. Town and parish councils will be asked to update their lists to inform the priorities for possible funding from this additional fund in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Waste
