The Chairman will explain this is an Extraordinary Calne Area Board meeting called to consider the single issue of the Calne Community Area Partnership (CCAP)’s claim for core funding 2013/2014.

The Chairman welcomed everyone to the Extraordinary Calne Area Board meeting, arranged for consideration of Calne Community Area Partnership funding.

Apologies for absence were received from Councillor Ansell, Geoff Dickerson (Heddington Parish Council), Brad Fleet (Service Director), Malcolm Gull (CCAP), Ed Jones (Focus on Five), Will Kay (Youth Development Coordinator) and Councillor Trotman.

To receive any declarations of disclosable interests or dispensations granted by the Standards Committee.

There were no declarations of interest.

To seek Calne Area Board’s approval of awarding core funding of £8,465 to Calne Community Area Partnership, covering the financial year 2013/14, with an agreement to release the first tranche of £4,432.50 immediately.

Consideration was given to the Calne Community Area Partnership claim for core funding 2013/14.

Decision

Calne Area Board approved the whole year’s core funding of £8,465 to Calne Community Area Partnership, with an agreement to release the 1^st tranche of funding of £4,432.50 immediately.

Decision

Calne Area Board agreed to release the 2^nd tranche of core funding to Calne Community Area Partnership at the December Calne Area Board meeting, provided that conditions given by the Partnership Development Officer, and agreed by the Board, had been met.

The next Calne Area Board meeting would be held at 6.30pm on 13 August 2013 at Calne Town Hall, with refreshments available from 6.00pm.
