Groups across the county have been urged to sign up on the Great British Spring Clean website and join in to help clean up the county from unsightly litter. Litter picking equipment has been provided by Wiltshire Council to town and parish councils and local community groups across the county, so people should contact their local town or parish council see if they have any equipment to borrow and if they are hosting a clean-up event to support. People can register their event on the Great British Spring Clean website at www.keepbritaintidy.org. The Chairman updated that the parishes of Edington, Bratton and Dilton Marsh had already participated in their spring cleans.
