Decision details

To:

(i)            Consider objections to the advertised proposals for parking controls at various locations in the Melksham and Melksham Without Traffic Regulation Order.

(ii)          Recommend the making of the Traffic Regulation Order with no amendments to the advertised proposals.

I approve that:

(i)         The restrictions be implemented as advertised, detailed in Appendix 2.

(ii)        The objectors be informed accordingly.

This decision was published on 29 May 2015 and will come into force on 6 June 2015.           

The comments set out in Appendix 1 on the objection received indicate that it is considered appropriate to introduce the scheme as advertised, detailed in Appendix 2. 

To:

(i)            Implement the proposals as advertised.

(ii)          Not implement the proposals.

(iii)         Implement the proposals with amendments.

The Melksham Town Council and Melksham Without Parish Council, where proposals were located, were consulted as part of the advertisement process for the proposals and the recommendations have been discussed with the appropriate Wiltshire Councillors for those areas.

As a result of the public advertisement one letter of representation was received.
