Purpose:
To seek authorisation for this Council as both landowner and local planning authority to formalise arrangements relating to the disposal of land at Wiltshire Drive Trowbridge, namely:-
a) Disposal of the Nursery Land to a single party on the terms agreed.
b) Disposal of the remainder of the site on a restricted basis.
Decision:
Following the conclusion of the consultation period, I give notice that I have made the decision set out in the attached report, and this will come into force on 31 August 2015.
Reasons for the decision:
To secure the property, spatial planning and financial interests of the Council.
Alternative options considered:
Options relating to each decision within this report have been explored by Officers and Carter Jonas, (the Council’s appointed agent) and this report sets out the preferred approach in each case.
