Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: Yes

Decision:

This decision was published on 8 March 2018 and will come into force on 16 March 2018.

Reasons for the decision:

The s75 agreement underpins the delivery of schemes in the Better Care Fund. It provides ongoing financial certainty to Wiltshire Council and CCG now that the Better Care Plan 2017-19 has been approved by NHS England (December 2017).

Alternative options considered:

a)    Sign the s75 agreement

b)    Not sign the s75 agreement

c)    Sign the s75 agreement with amendments

Other reasons / organisations consulted

The s75 agreement for the Better Care Fund 2017-19 was considered by the Wiltshire Health and Wellbeing Board, which brings together system leaders of health and social care, at its meeting of 25 January 2018. The Board gave strategic approval to the document.

The document has been developed collaboratively between officers of the council and CCG and rolls forward arrangements that have been in place in previous years.
