To consider the two objections to the proposed extension of No-Waiting at Any Time restrictions on part of Middlefield Road, and Middle Leaze, Chippenham.
I approve that the proposal be implemented as advertised.
This decision was published on 17 November 2020 and will come into force on 25 November 2020.
To complete and formalise the existing ‘No-Waiting at Any Time’ Restrictions delivered in 2018/2019 which omitted lines on the intersections/corners of Middlefield Road and Middle Leaze, Chippenham.
To facilitate unfettered access for highway users and to ensure safe access is maintained for users of the highway, free of the obstruction of parked vehicles.
To:
(i) Implement the proposals as advertised.
(ii) Not implement the proposals.
(iii) Implement the proposals with amendments.

Consultations have been undertaken with the Fire Service, Police and Ambulance Service and with the relevant bus companies, the Town Council and the Local Member. Advertisements have been posted in the local press and notices were posted in prominent positions at the site when Covid19 Restrictions allowed (see Appendix 1).
