To:

(i)            Consider objections to the advertised proposals for parking controls at various locations within Atworth Parish Order.

(ii)           Recommend the making of the Traffic Regulation Order with minor amendments to the advertised proposal.

I approve that:

(i)             The restrictions be implemented as advertised, subject to the minor amendments detailed in Appendix 3.

(ii)            The objectors be informed accordingly.

This decision was published on 21 December 2020 and will come into force on the 31 December 2020.

The comments set out in Appendix 2 on the various objections received indicate that it is considered appropriate to introduce the scheme with minor amendments as shown in Appendix 3.

To:

(i)         Implement the proposals as advertised.

(ii)        Not implement the proposals.

(iii)       Implement the proposals with amendments.

As part of the parking review the relevant parish councils were consulted prior to the advertisement process. The review resulted in four locations across Atworth Parish area being put forward to advertisement. These locations were: Clocktower View, Mead Park, A365 Bath Road junction with Fleetwood Rise and A365 Bath Road junction with Bradford Road.

During the advertisement period (between 1 to 26 October 2020 inclusive) a total of seven letters of representation have been received in response to the proposals contained within the advertised Traffic Regulation Order. Of those seven letters received, three supported the schemes, three objected and one commented on the proposals.
