DECISION MADE
I approve that:
(i) The restrictions be implemented as advertised, subject to the minor amendments detailed in Appendix 3.
(ii) The objectors be informed accordingly.
This decision was published on 8 March 2021 and will come into force on 16 March 2021.
The comments set out in Appendix 2 on the various objections received indicate that it is considered appropriate to introduce the scheme with the minor amendments detailed in Appendix 3.
To:
(i) Implement the proposals as advertised.
(ii) Not implement the proposals.
(iii) Implement the proposals with amendments.
Other reasons / organisations consulted
As part of the town centre parking review the Town Council was consulted prior to the advertisement process and two locations within Wilton were put forward to advertisement.
During the advertisement period a total of 14 items of correspondence were received in response to the proposals contained within the advertised Traffic Regulation Order (TRO). Of the 14 items of correspondence received, 7 expressed support for the Council’s proposals, 2 objected to the proposal in its current form and 9 commented on it.
