To amend the recommendation associated with the final package of services and assets to transfer to Bradford on Avon Town Council (BoA TC), as made by Cabinet on 24 March 2019, through removing reference to novation of contracts and delegating to a new Director to implement the decision.

I confirm the decision set out in the report to transfer the package of assets and services to Bradford on Avon Town Council

This decision was published on 11 January 2022 and will come into effect on 19 January 2022.

To complete the transfer of the package of assets and services to Bradford on Avon Town Council.

Not complete the transfer of assets and services – this results in the risk of increase costs for the Council and reduces the prospect of investment by BoA TC to improve facilities and services in the town.

The consultation plan for this report includes the town clerk of Bradford on Avon Town Council, the local elected members for Bradford on Avon and the Cabinet Member making the decision, all are in agreement with the proposal.
