Decision:

Following consultation, I give notice that I have made the decision to create a Resource Base at Lyneham Primary School as set out in the attached report.

This decision was published on 14 December 2022 and will come into force on 22 December 2022.

Reasons for the decision:

4. To provide specialist SEN school places for children in the Lyneham and North Wiltshire area assessed as needing this provision based on their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Alternative options considered:

3. Creating the resource base for January 2023 will help meet the identified need for specialist SEN school places in Lyneham and the North Wiltshire area. The alternative ‘do nothing’ would carry the risks identified in this paper.

Divisions Affected: Lyneham;
