Other reasons / organisations consulted

Background

The owners of Bowerhill Enterprise Centre, which adjoins the land shown edged red on the plan (Appendix 1) have expressed interest in buying land between their property and Westinghouse Way. The land is currently unused and not maintained. The area which can be made available is between a ditch (not marked on the plan) and the Council’s ownership boundary. A site survey enabling an accurate plan to be prepared will be carried out if terms for a disposal are agreed.

Consultation

Internal consultation with relevant departments has been carried out and there is no Council requirement for this land.
