Purpose:

To approve the disposal of an area of land of approximately 90 square metres in the area indicated edged red on the plan to the owners of 66 Queens Crescent on terms to be agreed by the Head of Strategic Property Services.

 

Decision:

That the land adjoining 66 Queens Crescent as indicated edged red on the plan at Appendix 1 be disposed of to the adjoining owner on terms to be agreed by the Head of Strategic Property Services.

 

Reasons for the decision:

To dispose of a small parcel of land which is of little use to the Council and obtain a capital receipt.

To:

 

(i)         Dispose of the land.

 

(ii)        Not dispose of the land.

 

Other reasons / organisations consulted

The owners of 66 Queens Crescent, which adjoins the land shown edged red on the plan (Appendix 1) have expressed interest in buying land . The land is currently used and maintained by them under a garden licence granted to them in 1992 by North Wiltshire District Council.

 

Internal consultation with relevant departments has been carried out and there is no Council requirement for this land.
