To consider the objections received following the formal advertisement of a PUFFIN Crossing (Pedestrian User Friendly Intelligent) at Wynsome Street, Southwick.
DECISION MADE
I approvethat the proposal be implemented as advertised.
This decision was published on 17 February 2014 and will come into force on 25 February 2014.
To provide improved crossing provision for pedestrians using Wynsome Street, Southwick.
To:
(i) Implement the proposal as advertised.
(ii) Not implement the proposal.
(iii) Implement the proposal with amendments.
Other reasons / organisations consulted
Consultations (at pre-consultation and full consultation stage) have been undertaken with the Fire, Police and Ambulance Services and also with the relevant bus companies. The Parish Councils have been consulted. Correspondence has been received and acknowledged from the local Wiltshire Council Member. Advertisements have been posted in the local press and notices erected in prominent positions close to the proposed crossing location on site (see Appendix 1).
