Purpose:
To update the existing Wiltshire Tourism Signing Policy in conjunction with Visit Wiltshire.
Decision:
Following consultation with officers I give notice that I intend to make the decision set out in the attached report. If you would like to make any representations to me on this issue please do so by 22 July 2014.
Reasons for the decision:
To bring the policy up to date with changes within Visit Wiltshire’s eligibility criteria and Wiltshire Council’s schedule of rates.
Alternative options considered:
To:
(i) Implement the changes to update the Wiltshire Tourism Signing Policy.
(ii) Not implement the changes to update the Wiltshire Tourism Signing Policy.

The policy update has the support of Visit Wiltshire.
