Purpose:
To update the existing Wiltshire Tourism Signing Policy in conjunction with Visit Wiltshire.
Decision:
I approve that the changes be implemented to update the Wiltshire Tourism Signing Policy.
This decision was published on 28 July 2014 and will come into force on 5 August 2014.
Reasons for the decision:
To bring the policy up to date with changes within Visit Wiltshire’s eligibility criteria and Wiltshire Council’s schedule of rates.
Alternative options considered:
To:
(i) Implement the changes to update the Wiltshire Tourism Signing Policy.
(ii) Not implement the changes to update the Wiltshire Tourism Signing Policy.
