Purpose:

To consider the representation by a member of the public, which was omitted from the formal consultation dated 29 January 2021, proposing the implementation of ‘No waiting at any time’ restrictions at Carnival Close (see Appendix 2).

I approve that the proposals be implemented with amendments as approved by the previous Cabinet Member with the additional removal of a length of six metres length of waiting restriction adjacent to Number 7 Carnival Close.

 

 

This decision was published on Wednesday 21 July 2021 and will come into force on Thursday 29 July 2021.

Informal consultations were undertaken initially from 25 September 2019 to 11 October 2019 with the Fire Service, Police and Ambulance Service and with the relevant bus companies, the Town Council and the Local Member.  Advertisements were published in the local press and notices were posted in prominent positions at the site from 13 August 2020.  A report was then prepared for the Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Waste for a Delegated Decision that was dated 29 January 2021 (see Appendices 1, 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d).
