The committee is provided with a report which includes information regarding the most recent Ofsted Inspection reports.  It provides an ongoing view of the effectiveness of schools as seen by Ofsted Inspection.

The Committee received a report by the Director, Education & Skills which included information regarding the most recent Ofsted inspection reports from December 2018 to mid-February 2019. It provided on ongoing view of the effectiveness of schools as seen by Ofsted inspection.

It was noted that six inspections had been carried out since the last report.  They were all maintained schools which had retained a ‘good’ grading.  The inspections were all short one-day inspections.
