Exclusion of the Press and Public To consider passing the following resolution:
To agree that in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 to exclude the public from the meeting for the business specified in Item Number 7 because it is likely that if members of the public were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act and the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information to the public.

Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered a report by the Corporate Directors with a recommendation to terminate the employment of two associate directors on the grounds of redundancy following a restructure of the senior management structure at tier 2.

To approve the termination of the employment

Mrs Carolyn Hamblett, Associate Director, Adult Care
Operations, on the grounds of redundancy with effect from 3
November 2017, subject to consultation with the Leader and Cabinet
members in accordance with the Officer Employment Procedure
Rules. b.
Mr Barry Pirie, Associate Director,
People and Business, on the grounds of redundancy with effect from
30 November 2017, subject to consultation with the Leader and
Cabinet members in accordance with the Officer Employment Procedure
Rules.
