Appointment following changes to the Senior Management Structure

Tamsin Kielb, Director HR & OD, presented a report on changes to the senior management structure.


Following the resignation of the Director, Wholelife Pathway, a review was undertaken and with agreement from the Leader and the Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care it was decided to delete the post of Director, Wholelife Pathway, and the post Director, Ageing & Living Well, and to create a new post of Director, Adult Social Care.

 

The appointments policy for chief and senior officers was outlined, and following details on proposed redeployment to a suitable alternative role, it was,

To appoint Emma Legg as Director, Adult Social Care (DASS).

To agree that in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 to exclude the public from the meeting for the business specified in Item No. 5 because it is likely that if members of the public were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act and the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information to the public.
