Nominations were requested for a Chairman for the forthcoming year. Nominations were received for Councillors Ernie Clark and Jo Trigg. Following a vote, it was,

To elect Councillor Ernie Clark as Chairman for the forthcoming year.

Election of Vice-Chairman

To elect a Vice-Chairman for the forthcoming year.

Minutes:

Nominations were requested for a Vice-Chairman for the forthcoming year. Nominations were received for Councillors Andrew Bryant and Horace Prickett. Following a vote, it was,

To elect Councillor Horace Prickett as Vice-Chairman for the forthcoming year.

Appointment to Outside Bodies and Working Groups

The Board discussed appointments to outside bodies and working groups and it was:

To appoint Councillor representatives to outside bodies as set out at Appendix A, to reconstitute and appoint to working groups as set out in Appendix B, and note the terms of reference of the working groups as set out in Appendix C, subject to the following changes:

 

CATG- Wiltshire Police – Helen Daveridge

Trowbridge Health and Wellbeing Centre Working Group – Hilperton Parish Council – to open up to any parish council, and to be nominated by the parish councils

Trowbridge Health and Wellbeing Centre Working Group – Chamber of Commerce – Kez Gardiner

 

Lyn Management Group – Trowbridge Town Hall – David Lockwood

Lyn Management Group – Go Fish – Nicola Davis

Urgent items

Any other items of business which the Chairman agrees to consider as a matter of urgency.

Minutes:

Through the Chair there was discussion of the reopening of the high street, including communication of measures being taken by Wiltshire Council. Possible pedestrianisation schemes for Silver Street and Market Street were raised, along with area with narrow pavements. Beyond the town centre there was also discussion of opening of cycleways.

 

It was agreed the Chairman of the Community Area Transport Group, Cllr Horace Prickett, would seek further information on behalf of the Board.
