Introduction ( to trainer / course) / What is it about?

Ian Brown, Head of Revenues and Benefits, and his team, will update councillors on the action taken to introduce welfare reform, and will cover:

· Under occupation

· Discretionary housing payments

· Council tax support

· The introduction of Local Welfare provision (which replaces crisis loans and community care grants)

Cost to Town and Parish Council members wishing to attend:

£40 per attendee, which includes refreshments and all course material

Please note that payment would be required before attending the course.
