To allow the Strategic Procurement Hub to enter into the resulting contract, with a total value of £124,200.00 in line with the Council’s Constitution and Schemes of Delegation, including the use of e­signatures where permitted and considered appropriate.

19/01/2021 - Approval for provision of 20 discharge to assess/community flow beds by way of an exemption to extend ref: 1745    Recommendations Approved

Decision:

To approve the repurposing of the existing Intensive Rehabilitation and Delirium at Little Manor Nursing Home beds provision to Hospital Discharge Support Units (HDSU) to support customers urgent discharge from hospital due to the Covid-19 crisis.

The total value for a maximum of 26 weeks commencing on the 20.01.2021 is anticipated to be £1,170,000.00. This is a maximum contract and it is envisaged that the service will revert to normal as soon as the current emergency eases (the contract will contain a 4-week notice period so that we can be responsive to changing needs). Please see appendix 1 for details of the contracts.

The contract is due to commence on the 19th January 2021 and run for an 11-week period expiring on the 31st March 2021. The total value for the 11-week term is £60,500.00. Please see appendix 1 for details of the contracts.

To consider the comments received following the formal advertisement of a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) relating to ‘No Waiting Monday – Friday 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm’ waiting restrictions on Kennet Gardens, Bradford on Avon, and to recommend an appropriate way forward.

02/03/2021 - HTW-07-21: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - The County of Wiltshire (Meerut Road, Tidworth) (Prohibition of Right Hand Turn) Order 2020 and The County of Wiltshire (Pennings Road, Tidworth) (Prohibition of Left Hand Turn) Order 2020 ref: 1741    Recommendations Approved

To consider one objection and two representations of support in connection with the proposed introduction of prohibited turns at the junction and the A338 Pennings Road and Meerut Road (see Appendix 2). The proposed prohibited turns are the left turn into Meerut Road from the A338, and the right turn from Meerut Road to the A338 (see plan at Appendix 3). One further objection initially received from a resident was later withdrawn but is included in Appendix 2. This was because the resident initially thought that the right turn into Meerut Road was being prohibited, but subsequently realised that this was not what was being proposed.

(ii)              The schemes at Bristol Road Chippenham and Brown St / Exeter St Salisbury be removed.

 

            Tranche 2

(i)               The schemes at Hilperton to Melksham via Semington and Easton Lane at Chippenham be subject to further consultation

(ii)              The schemes at A420 Bristol Road and Lowden Hill, Chippenham and Downton Road Salisbury, should not be progressed at this time but be retained as future scheme candidates.
