Consultation process
The scheme has been discussed and supported by the Tidworth Community Area Transport Group, a sub group of the Community Area Board.
The scheme has the support of the Parish Council and Local Member – Mr Charles Howard.
The formal advertisement for the PUFFIN Crossing and associated controlled zone was undertaken between 11 September 2014 and 6 October 2014. During this period fourteen comments have been received. Three of these are in objection to the proposal. Eleven comments in support of the proposal have been received, including those from Collingbourne Ducis Parish Council and Collingbourne Primary School. The comments received, along with the officer comments, are available at Appendix 2.
