Consultation process
Wiltshire Council and Lyneham Primary School have widely consulted on the proposal to expand Lyneham Primary School to provide 3 forms of entry (630 places). Consultation with a range of stakeholders took place between March 2017 and November 2017 and preceded publication of the statutory proposals on 1February 2018. The Public Notice period of four weeks ended on 1 March 2018.
A meeting for the public was held at the school on 22 November 2017, where the only concerns raised related to traffic & highway issues. These were subsequently addressed through the planning process and planning permission was secured on the 16th March.
