To:

(i)            Consider objections to the advertised proposals for parking controls at various locations within Cricklade.

(ii)           Recommend the making of the Traffic Regulation Order with minor amendments to the advertised proposals.

DECISION MADE

I approve that:

(i)         The restrictions be implemented as advertised, subject to the minor amendments detailed in Appendix 3.

(ii)        The objectors to be informed accordingly.

This decision was published on 23.02.18 and will come into force on 05.03.18.           

The comments set out in Appendix 2 on the various objections received indicate that it is considered appropriate to introduce the scheme with the minor amendments detailed in Appendix 3. 

To:

(i)         Implement the proposals as advertised.

(ii)        Not implement the proposals.

(iii)       Implement the proposals with amendments.

As part of the Town Centre parking review the Town Council was consulted prior to the advertisement process. The review resulted in 7 locations in Cricklade being put forward to advertisement. 

During the advertisement period a total of 18 items of correspondence were received in response to the proposals contained within the advertised Traffic Regulation Order (TRO). Of the 18 items of correspondence received, 4 expressed support for the Council’s proposals, 12 objected to the proposal in its current form and 2 commented on.
